I have over fifteen years of experience editing scholarly journals, books, dissertations, and articles. In many cases, I also index books that I’ve edited. On occasion I review translations from Arabic to English to ensure accuracy of meaning and smooth, flowing English.
I hold a Master of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Islamic History. I am a native English speaker, with advanced Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking), and familiarity with Persian and French. I am experienced using various Arabic transliteration systems and a number of fonts that offer full diacritics. I work closely with a typesetter (working in both Arabic and English) and for a number of academic and university presses.
