I most often edit in accordance with the Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition); however, if your work requires a different style guide, such as APA or MLA, I will be happy to adhere to other guides.
Generally, I do not check facts; if fact-checking is needed and is extensive, we would need to agree on an additional fee. I do not handle permissions for copyright material or artwork. If you require an index, please advise and we can discuss this; it is considered a separate project.
I use the latest versions of Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat Professional, and send the document to you by e-mail. I make standard changes “silently,” and send queries in comments in the text of the document, or in a separate document.
